After weeks of being lazy and grinding and repairing every little air bubble I had because I cant help myself, I finally started bedding in the new balsa, Used a square trowel and bonding compound from my local fiberglass supply. I used weights to hold it down and to keep it from sliding out of place.

Pre coating the bottom of the balsa before bedding. I used laminating isothalic resin thinned 25%.

Got some more fillets done today. Had to call it quits early, hopefully will finish up tomorrow. I blended the ends of the lower core next to the pad into the chine where the floor sits. Originally they had the core laid over the top of the floor(must have been built on a friday afternoon), Needless to say I will not be doing that.

Got core sealed up with 1708 and waxed gelcoat to cure everything off. Monday I will sand and add one final layer of 1.5oz csm to really seal things up followed by some gelcoat and the stringers.
