Where are you from?

I am thinking of white gel with some grit to it for my floor. Just hose it out and plus no carpet to soak up the water. We will see though.

White gel would be a pain to keep clean unless it's sanded and buffed. One other thing to consider if not using carpet is the glass has to be sanded smooth otherwise you will end up with nasty slivers.

Bottum of IA Hippie we just dont get all the snow you guys do. As for gel floor cant you just add layers? tell mat is smooth . Thats what we do with glass resin when we do house boats . We have done decks on two 37ft Gibsons that way . Seems to work they sit out all winter .We paint resin with epoxy paint put down alitte sand blasting sand for grip and done .Granted this does not make it totally flat depends on the finish your going for. We put down 2 passes.

I like that idea of the not carpeted floor, but for me it's family boat with carpet. I have no intention of this boat sitting out so staying wet will not be an issue. Bill

I was in Wisconsin this past week and was able to make it out to Bill's house to check the vulture. First off Bill it was great to meet you and look forward to getting out on the water with you.

Bill and his sons have done some outstanding work so far. This is something they should be proud to show off for years to come. I have kidded Bill about putting carpet in the boat but I have it in my vegas and I would put it in any lake boat anyways it looked great in there. The seating is going to be great in this thing, well thought out.

Keep up the good work and I will see you on the water

Yeah Rick - I am getting pretty close. I am having trouble posting pictures because they are too large to convert. Any suggestions? I am getting excited to hit some waves. How about you? Have the jackplate on yet? I just got off the phone with the owner from late 90's who had the title last. We had a great conversation about the history of the boat. Sounds like the paperwork will go smooth. He was still as passionate about the streams as all of us are. One less thing to worry about. Bill

Mines still hibrinating. I'll get to it at the end of the month. Got a newer clamp for it too. Has the fat tiller and fast trim. I'm sure it'll run good. Can't wait.
