Just saw the evidence of Chet's mishap on S&F. Glad he made it ok! Remember to wear your vest and kill switch everybody.

Thanks guys it's been a rough 2 months for sure. My mom was in a car accident and broke her neck but is recovering with a halo so I have been over at her house nightly to help out.

I finally got a day to start working on set up and went too high with the motor causing me to use too much trim I think. I made one pass after raising the motor up to 107 and it felt ok, then on the way back the boat leaned to the starboard side as it has in the past and as it straightened out I saw the sky then the water, next thing I knew I was doing cartwheels over the water. I was wearing my lifeline and tether but am fairly sore today.

That's really a shame; that was a beautiful boat. Glad you're OK though. So did it feel as if it was right on the edge before it happened? (I guess that's a stupid question, you were doing 100+ in a Hydrostream). I guess it was into the wind, correct? Do you think the changes to the design (looked awesome) had an effect?

That picture of the high-speed pass really looks awesome!
